Rehabilitation Services for People Affected by Conflict Related Trauma in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka

Objectives:
To contribute to the restoration of individual, family and community wellbeing through the provision of psychosocial
care for survivors of violence related trauma caused by conflict and/or gender-based violence, and the promotion of
active participation in community leadership and reconciliation
Results:
Up to May 2019, the geographic scope of FRC has expanded to Monaragala District. 5 GRLACs are formed and 5
CVs are recruited. 31 community members were made aware. In addition, 20 clients were provided with 31 counseling
sessions.
