On 26th September 2023, a key meeting took place between the Chief Secretary of Northern Province
and the head office of FRC in Colombo. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the details of a new
project intervention by FRC in the province and to find ways to strengthen meaningful stakeholder
relationships for collective efforts in addressing the needs of the community.

During the meeting, both parties discussed strategies to maximize the project's impact and ensure effective implementation. The Chief Secretary shared valuable insights on the specific needs and challenges faced by the local community in Northern Province, while FRC representatives presented their proposed project plans and how they align with the overall development goals of the province.

The main objective of this project is to improve the lives of the people in Northern Province by providing them with necessary resources, tools, and opportunities. FRC and the Chief Secretary of Northern Province have vowed to work closely together to achieve this goal and address any potential obstacles.
