Strengthening Support: FRC Hosts Referral Pathway Training in Mullaitivu District

The Family Rehabilitation Centre (FRC) conducted a Referral Pathway Training in Mullaitivu on 13 August 2025 under the BAT project, facilitated by Imran Hasan, Quality and Learning Manager. The training emphasized how effective referral systems can ensure that individuals are connected to the right services when their needs extend beyond the capacity of a single organization. Key discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between government agencies, NGOs, and community groups, while upholding principles of client-centered care, informed consent, and cultural respect. Through interactive sessions and group activities, stakeholders worked on drafting a referral directory for Mullaitivu, aimed at improving accessibility and coordination of services. The training successfully promoted cross-sector cooperation and laid a strong foundation for delivering timely, comprehensive, and holistic support to vulnerable individuals in the district.
