As May 2017 marked a year since the occurrence of the landslide disaster, FRC once again inquired the needs of the clients and community in terms of commentating this event and all those who are dead and missing due to it. In collaboration with the Divisional Secretariat – Aranayaka, FRC contributed towards an alms giving for priests.

In addition, the FRC also organized a “Kavi Bana” program (Religious sermon in the form on poems). This event was attended by many Divisional Government staff, FRC clients and staff members.
